2025 Jawa Perak Launched: India’s Most Stylish Bobber Bike Gets an Upgrade!

The 2024 Jawa Perak is available in a one-of-a-kind, “Stealth” edition, which features a dual-tone matte grey and black color scheme.

The bike also gets repositioned forward-set foot pegs, retuned monoshock suspension, and a new front-mounted exhaust system and a revised engine with slightly reduced power and torque compared to previous models.

Jawa also introduced a new alloy wheel design for the 42 Bobber.

The Jawa Perak was first showcased in India on November 15, 2018, and was officially launched on November 15, 2019. The launch followed its initial unveiling during the Jawa brand launch. Bookings for the motorcycle began on January 1, 2020, and deliveries began in April 2020.

  • It has a typical low-slung profile and a long wheelbase compared to other Jawa models. It follows a black theme with a matte black-grey paint job and a black theme for most of its mechanical parts.
  • The design is accentuated with gold pin striping on the fuel tank, side panels and fenders. The other biggest highlight of the motorcycle is the floating seat design with a tan-brown leather seat that gives the Perak the classic bobber stance.

    In terms of equipment, the Perak comes with conventional halogen lamps all around, except for LED tail lamps. The instrument cluster is a circular unit with a small digital unit for the odometer lifted from the Jawa standard.
  • The motorcycle uses telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock mounted under the seat at the rear. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends, which are bolstered by dual-channel ABS.
  • Speaking of the power train, the Perak features a slightly larger 334cc engine than the Jawa Standard and Forty-Two. It continues to be a single-cylinder unit with liquid-cooling and is capable of producing 30bhp and 31Nm in terms of power output.

Transmission duties are handled by a six-speed gearbox. For its price and styling, the Jawa Perak competes with the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 500 in the market.
