HARLEY-DAVIDSON EDT 600R Electric Bike 2025 New Upcoming!

HARLEY-DAVIDSON EDT 600R Electric Bike 2025 New Upcoming: The Harley-Davidson ADTV 600R electric bike is an upcoming electric motorcycle from Harley-Davidson that is expected to be launched in India at a price starting at Rs. 6 Lakh. It is designed for adventure and long-distance travel, with an emphasis on a zero-carbon footprint.

The Edt 600R is one of the many electric motorcycles that Harley-Davidson plans to introduce in India.

Overview

The Harley-Davidson EDTV 600R electric bike is one of the best electric bikes around – but it’s not cheap. However, things are now changing rapidly with H&D’s decision to split its e-bike operation and news of a tie-up with the Kim Company.

The original HARLEY-DAVIDSON Edt 600R Electric bike, now rebranded as the HARLEY-DAVIDSON Edt 600R Electric bike One, will soon be joined by additional models, all based around a new, ‘Arrow’ platform.

Feature and Tech

Under development since 2017, it will be used across a variety of bikes, with a broad spectrum of performance, range, and style, while sharing as many parts as possible. It’s a modular design with a central battery pack that also serves as the monoshock frame.

At the front, a cast alloy steering head section is held in place by four bolts, allowing different head angles and wheelbases to be adopted by changing just one part.

At the rear, there’s scope to bolt different motors to the central monoshock, along with a selection of swingarms.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON Edt 600R Electric bike will be making battery/chassis units in different sizes – the firm’s investor documents say there will be 50v, 100v, 350v, and ‘400+’ volt versions, which can be either air or liquid cooled.

The same cooling options apply to the motor and control electronics. This will create a full range of interchangeable components, allowing the firm to replace batteries.

The monoshock section, motor, electronics, headstock, and swing arm, as well as a range of forks, shocks, wheels, and bodywork, will allow for mix-and-matching.

Initially, we’ll see a middleweight ‘S2’ range, with the first version adopting the title ‘S2 Del Mar’, after the California beach town of the same name.

Engine and Performance

It’s likely a version of the flat-track-style EDT600R machine that was sketched in 2019, and will still use the Harley-Davidson name.

Eventually, ‘S2’ will make up a whole line of middleweights and be joined by a range of ‘S3’ machines, using a scaled-down version of the Arrow architecture. These will be built in partnership with Kymco.

An electric bike is the name for the electric power train, and the number ‘700’ is probably intended to give riders a reference point, helping them understand the equivalent cubic capacity of a petrol bike with similar performance.

The initials of the aero platform reflect the battery section badge that says ‘Revelation 700’ – ‘Revelation’ Harley-Davidson ADT 600R. Lastly, HARLEY-DAVIDSON Edt 600R Electric bike promises to launch an array of ‘S4’ heavyweight machines offering premium performance.

Power electronics. The grey box mounted in front of the battery contains all the control electronics as well as a built-in charger, which shares a cooling system with the battery and motor (air or liquid, depending on the application).

By bolting on different front-end sections to the headstock, the Harley-Davidson EDT600R can create whatever steering geometry is needed for a particular model without redesigning the entire chassis.

Motor Harley-Davidson EDT600R will use its own ‘Revelation’ motor, which will have a direct-drive design, so there will be no reduction gearset. And the motor’s spindle and front drive sprocket will be centered with the swing arm pivot.

Again, depending on the application, both air and liquid-cooled versions will be offered. Other chassis parts.

The swing arm, wheels, forks, and rear shock can all be swapped and changed as on any other bike, and allied to the rest of the modular Arrow architecture, means there’s virtually no limit to the types of machine LiveWire can create around the platform.

Price and Variants

The Harley-Davidson EDT600R electric bike is an upcoming model with expected prices starting at ₹6 lakh. It is expected to be a cruiser-style electric bike.  The on-road price will start from ₹ 6.00 lakh, including RTO charges and insurance.

The EDT600R is expected to have a starting price of ₹ 6 lakh, which likely includes on-road costs as well.
