Skoda Slavia Facelift 2025: Fresh Look, Improved Performance & More

Skoda Slavia Facelift 2025: The Slavia added a fresh breath of air to the mid-size sedan segment. After Slavia, Volkswagen, and Hyundai launched the Virtus and updated the Verna, respectively.

Though sedan sales are on a downward trend, Slavia is doing decent sales. To keep the Slavia up to date, Skoda could give it a facelift. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Skoda Slavia facelift.

Overview of The Skoda Slavia Facelift 2025

The Skoda Slavia is a compact sedan priced between Rs 10.69 lakh and Rs 18.69 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals the likes of the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City, and Hyundai Verna.

Thanks to its European roots, it promises a fun-to-drive experience, while also offering you space, features, practicality, comfort, and safety.

Design & Style

The Slavia doesn’t look outdated by any stretch of the imagination. Still, on the facelift, we expect some subtle changes to differentiate it from the current model.

At the front, we could make slight tweaks on the grille, LED DRLs, and bumpers.

  • On the higher variants, it will continue with the 1.5-litre engine capable of producing 148bhp and 250Nm of torque.

  • This engine offers a punchier 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque. It’s available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.

Performance

  • The Slavia Facelift is expected to maintain its strong performance characteristics, with the 1.5L engine offering a more powerful driving experience.
  • The 1.0L engine is known for its smooth and efficient performance.
  • The car is expected to deliver a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience, especially on highways

Features & Tech

The Skoda Slavia facelift will feature a revised front and rear profile, redesigned bumpers, tweaked grille, and slightly reworked LED DRLs and headlamps.

The Slavia facelift can benefit from select new features such as a 360-degree surround camera, electronic parking brake, dual-zone climate control, and an ADAS suite.

Mechanically, the Slavia facelift will likely continue with the same powertrain options, including a 1.0-litre and a 1.5-litre TSI petrol motor. The transmission options will include a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic torque converter unit, and a seven-speed DCT gearbox.

The Skoda Slavia facelift has not been tested yet for any crash test safety ratings.

Upon arrival, the Skoda Slavia facelift will continue its rivalry with the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and the Hyundai Verna in the mid-size sedan segment.

Mileage & Fuel Efficiency

The Skoda Slavia facelift offers two engine options: a 1.0-liter TSI and a 1.5-liter TSI, both petrol. The 1.0-liter TSI delivers 18.07-20.32 kmpl, while the 1.5-liter TSI offers 19.36 kmpl.

The Skoda Slavia facelift prices are expected to range between Rs. 12.00 Lakh – Rs. 19.00 Lakh, depending on the variant selected. The Skoda Slavia facelift will likely continue with the existing variants, namely, Active, Ambition, and Style.

Final Verdict

Though Skoda hasn’t confirmed the launch of the Slavia facelift, we expect the new model sometime next year. This is because the Kushaq is expected to get a facelift to help differentiate it from its upcoming compact SUV model and help boost sales.

Currently, the Slavia starts from Rs and goes to Rs (on-road, Mumbai). The face-lifted model could get a price hike of Rs 50k to 60k, depending on the variants.
