Features & Tech

The Nexon EV’s battery pack is liquid-cooled and has IP67 water résistance. Medium Range delivers 127 bhp/215Nm – claimed range is 325km, Long Range delivers 143 bhp/215Nm – tested range is 296km. A 7.2kW AC home wall box charger comes as standard and charges 10-100 per cent in 4.3/6 hours for Medium/Long Range.

It can be charged quickly anywhere with the DC fast charger; it charges 10-80 per cent in 56 minutes for both Medium and Long Range.

• The electric motor’s instant torque makes it quick to accelerate, especially in Sport mode (0-100 kmph claimed in 8.9 seconds).
• Battery regeneration mode is incorporated in the paddle shifters for added convenience.
